What is Edmodo?

Edmodo is an educational technology company which offers a class management system for teachers;and communication,colloboration and coaching platform for students and teachers.

How Edmodo works? 

Firstly,You need to sign up for Edmodo. There are 3 options for signing up

You can sign up the website as a Teacher,Student or a Parent.

For Students,There are 6 sections which are Home,Classes,Calendar,Backpack,Discover and Messages.

Home Page:

This a picture from my own Edmodo account and In this home section,You see all actions happening in your account,You see posts,assignments,sharings from any of your classes.

Also,You see your profile picture and the instititution name which you belong to.

By clicking view profile,You can view and edit your profile as you wish.

Classes Page:

To view your classes,You need to join a class or If you are teacher you can create a class and send class code to your students.After joining as a member in a class you can click Classes and see which classes do you have and by clicking the name of your courses you can view the class page and posts from your teacher.

Calendar Page:

In Calendar category,You see upcoming events and due dates of your assignments which you have to submit.As a teacher You can plan your schedule and select dates for a task or event.

Backpack Page:

In backpack part,You see all shared files and documents.You can also link your Google Drive or Onedrive accounts and create new folders or add new documents.

Discover Page:

Discover part enables you to watch videos which shared by other teachers,play games and discover different apps.By using these apps You can do activities and create your own activities and tasks.

Messages Page:

      

Messages enables you to send private messages to your teacher,colleague or a friend.It is your Direct message box.You not only send messages but also attach files and insert emojis.

How can we make use of Edmodo:

Edmodo is one of the class management systems.It is also simple and practical as you can access to it via a mobile app,tablet or your personal computer. As a teacher, You can easily create a class and do interactive tasks with your students and always be collaborative with everyone.By this way You can enhance your teaching and understanding of the students.In addition You can discover new teaching and learning methods which you can apply for your own course.

Who can use this App:

This app created for educational purposes.So,Teachers Instituons Students and Parents can easily use Edmodo.
